Privacy

Short and plain.

What we store

To run an exchange we store the event name, budget, date, participant names, any exclusions, each person's wishlist, and whether and when each private link was opened. That's it. We never ask for email addresses, phone numbers or accounts.

How long

Everything is deleted automatically around February 1, 2027. The organizer can delete an exchange sooner from the organizer page.

Who can see what

Each private link shows one person's giftee and that giftee's wishlist. The organizer page shows links and opened status, never pairings. We don't sell or share your data.

Cookies and tracking

We don't set cookies and we don't use analytics, ads or third-party trackers. Our host, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse; we use them only briefly in memory for rate limiting and don't store them.

Shopping links

Gift ideas link to Amazon search results. If you click through, Amazon's own privacy policy applies there.
